Pre-treatment: Topsealer Pro-Plus
Pro-Plus is a high-performance pre-treatment that replaces TT Presealer. It builds an extremely dense barrier film providing maximum protection against stains, liquids, and standing water.
💡 Key Characteristics to Consider:
• Surface Texture: Pro-Plus builds a heavier protective film, which can slightly soften the raw tactile feel of the microcement.
• Metallic Finishes: Pro-Plus performs excellently over Pure Metal coatings because the barrier preserves metallic luster far better than traditional pre-sealers. Note: On purely decorative, non-wet areas, natural wax provides the richest depth on metallic layers.

Always use a 4 mm lint-free mohair roller. Apply the material extremely thinly and work it thoroughly into the cement pores. Applying too thick a coat will result in an orange-peel or pebbled texture.

Preparation Prior to Application
• Drying Time: Apply Pro-Plus no earlier than 24 hours after the final microcement coat has dried completely.
• Cleaning: Vacuum the surface using a soft brush nozzle (manage the power cord carefully to avoid scuff marks). Wipe the entire area with a dry microfiber cloth. Trapped sanding dust darkens beneath the barrier film and becomes immediately visible on light color tones.

Mixing & Critical Conditions
• Sedimentation When Splitting Batches: If you are not mixing a full kit at once, stir Component A thoroughly from the bottom up. Heavy solids settle at the base and must be uniformly redispersed before measuring out partial quantities.
• Mixing Ratio: A full batch mixes 0.8 kg Component A + 0.64 kg Component B. Calculate exact split batches for smaller areas in the mixing app.
• Blending: Mix the components thoroughly using a mechanical paddle mixer at low speed.
• Short Pot Life: You have only 10–15 minutes to roll out the mixed material. Do not mix larger quantities than can be applied within this window. One standard kit covers approximately 14 m².
Application Technique
Apply in 1 extremely thin coat. Work the material firmly into the substrate:
• Color Tone & Pigmentation: Always reference the Pro-Plus pigmentation recipe in the app. Pro-Plus enhances color depth and darkens the cement more than standard pre-sealers.
• Avoid Puddles & Drips: The material self-levels into a high-gloss finish as it cures. Any drips or puddles that harden cannot be sanded out afterward. Roll out all excess material immediately.
• Protect Adjacent Areas: Always mask and protect floors when rolling walls, and set the paint tray on protective sheeting during floor applications. Accidental spills leave permanent marks.
• Avoid Puddles & Drips: The material self-levels into a high-gloss finish as it cures. Any drips or puddles that harden cannot be sanded out afterward. Roll out all excess material immediately.
• Protect Adjacent Areas: Always mask and protect floors when rolling walls, and set the paint tray on protective sheeting during floor applications. Accidental spills leave permanent marks.
Drying Time & Next Steps: Topcoat
• Drying Time: Allow Pro-Plus to cure for at least 6 hours.
• Surface Finish: The cured film is fully glossy. Apply a matte or satin topcoat over it to reduce sheen and reach the intended final appearance.
• Intermediate Sanding: Lightly scuff the cured surface with 400-grit sandpaper or sanding mesh prior to applying the topcoat. Wipe away all residual dust using a dry microfiber cloth.
• Surface Finish: The cured film is fully glossy. Apply a matte or satin topcoat over it to reduce sheen and reach the intended final appearance.
• Intermediate Sanding: Lightly scuff the cured surface with 400-grit sandpaper or sanding mesh prior to applying the topcoat. Wipe away all residual dust using a dry microfiber cloth.
