💡 About Forshield PA Clear:
Forshield PA is a two-component, fast-curing Polyaspartic sealer that provides exceptionally strong and durable protection. It leaves a gloss surface as the first coat and is subsequently topcoated with Forshield 2KWB or Forshield Ultra to achieve the desired semi-matte final finish.

- Smooth Floors (Rolling): Used on floor areas subject to heavy traffic and wear requiring extra durable base protection before topcoating.
- Bathrooms & Wet Zones (Troweling with Flakes): Always used as the initial protective layer on Microstone and Microgranite in bathrooms. The product is mixed with 4% Thickening Powder and troweled to fill the voids between flakes.
- System Setup: Forshield PA serves as a robust protective base coat (coat 1) and is always sealed with Forshield 2KWB or Forshield Ultra as the final topcoat (coat 2).

• Mixing Ratio (by weight): 60 parts Component A + 40 parts Component B (60:40).
• Coverage for Rolling (smooth floors): Approx. 60 g/m².
• Coverage for Troweling (flakes in wet areas): Approx. 120 g/m² (add 4% Thickening Powder).

⚠️ Important Information Before Starting:
• Working Temperature: Material, substrate, and ambient room temperature must be between +10 °C and +25 °C.
• Fast Curing / Short Pot Life: The product has a pot life of only approx. 15 minutes after mixing. Plan the work carefully and never mix more material than you can apply immediately.
• Crucial When Splitting Units: Heavy particles settle at the bottom of Component A. Always stir Component A thoroughly from the bottom before weighing out batch portions if not mixing the entire unit at once.

1. Preparation

Drying Time: The substrate must have cured and dried for at least 18 hours before application begins.
2.
Vacuuming & Dry-Wiping: Vacuum and dry-mop the substrate meticulously. Then wipe the entire surface with a dry microfiber cloth to remove all loose dust and particulate matter.
2. Mixing
🧪 Mixing Instructions:
1. Stir Component A thoroughly from the very bottom before measuring.
2. Mix Component A and Component B (60:40 by weight) for 2–3 minutes using a paddle mixer at low speed.
3. When troweling on flakes (Microstone/Microgranite): Add 4% Thickening Powder to the A+B mixture and mix for an additional 2–3 minutes until the paste is smooth and homogenous.

3. Application & Execution

Smooth Floors (Rolling – approx. 60 g/m²): Roll the sealer very thinly using a fine roller suited for epoxy (do not use the Microstar roller). Applying too thick a layer risks an orange-peel texture and a plasticky finish.
2.
Flakes in Bathrooms (Troweling – approx. 120 g/m²): Trowel the thickened mixture using a rubber squeegee or steel trowel to properly fill voids between flakes. Scrape off excess to avoid leaving ridges behind.
3.
Drying Time: Allow Forshield PA to dry for at least 3 hours before applying the final topcoat.
Next Step: Topcoat
After at least 3 hours of drying time, roll an application of Forshield 2KWB or Forshield Ultra to reduce the gloss level to semi-matte and deliver final aesthetic and protective durability:

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses during all handling and mixing.

• Clean tools immediately with suitable solvent/thinner or use disposable tools.
