Instructions on how to calculate pigment and water quantities in the mixing app when preparing Forcrete.
1. Step-by-Step App Inputs

Are you pigmenting a full bucket?
• Select YES if you are pigmenting the entire bucket directly.
• Select NO if you are pigmenting a smaller partial quantity.
Recommendation: Always pigment full buckets to guarantee exact color consistency. Partial batch pigmentation may be used on the first base coat to save material or when preparing color samples (keep potential shade variations in mind).

Enter quantity of Component A (if NO in step 1):
If you chose not to pigment a full bucket, enter the amount of cement (Comp A) in kg to be pigmented.

Select material: Choose the product you are pigmenting (e.g., Microbase XT or Microquartz).

Select color: Choose the color shade specified for the project.

The upper section displays your selections from the previous steps. Always verify that the substrate and color match before weighing the pigment.
Pigment & Water Quantities
The lower box displays the exact amount of pigment (in grams) to add. For the powder to absorb the pigment and dissolve evenly, clean water must also be added during mixing.
Water volume guidelines for pigmentation:| Pigment Amount | Recommended Water Amount |
|---|---|
| Under 100 g pigment | Approx. 100 g water |
| 100 g to 300 g pigment | Approx. 150 g water |
| Over 300 g pigment | Approx. 200–250 g water |
✍️ Always record the water amount on the bucket:
Note the exact grams of water added directly on the bucket lid or side. This number must be entered into the app later when adding the hardener (Component B).
⏳ Resting Time: Allow the pigmented cement to rest for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight) before adding hardener so the pigment fully dissolves.
